Permits are required for all temporary or permanent signage on or at businesses (MBMC 10.72.010). Permits are required for all temporary banners for a business (MBMC 10.72.020). To request more information regarding the commercial sign and banner program, please fill out an online Commercial Signs and Banners Form. If you believe a sign or banner is in violation of municipal code, fill out an online Sign Violations Form or contact Jacqueline Harris, Code Enforcement Officer at (310) 802-5538 or by email. If you get the voicemail, please leave a detailed message with the address and location of the sign or banner. If you would like the Code Enforcement Officer to get back to you, also leave your name and phone number.
