It’s very easy. It’s even easier if you have the new mirror glass with you so you can see the retaining springs in the back to refer to the one on the car you’r removing. Trying to explain it the best in words, the mirror glass just “pops out” but you must do it carefully. First from inside the car adjust the mirror so its looking down to the street. From the top take a flat screwdriver and put pressure between the mirror glass and its mount. The glass will simply pop off. If you have auto dimming or heated glass feature there will be wires to unplug. To put the new glass on do the same in reverse. Clip the bottom in first then the top.
