Disconnect the negative battery cable. The proceed under the driver side dash to the brake pedal where the switch is located.

There is a small retainer clip on the switch which needs to be taken off. Snap ring pliers or needle nose are the tool of choice here usually.

Then you can un-snap the brake switch housing off of the push rod to the pedal.

At this point you disconnect the electrical connector.

Installation of the new part in the reverse of removal. Do not forget to reconnect the battery cable when done.
