Panel RemovalTurn off the Dell Latitude laptop, close it, power down and remove the power cord. Turn the laptop upside down and remove the small plastic panel by loosening the screws. At this point the laptop’s memory (RAM) slots are exposed.Replacing the MemoryRemove the existing memory by gently pulling it out of its slot. Do not bend or rotate the memory as this causes damage. Replace the existing memory with the new by gently sliding it into the slot until a small clicking sound is heard.Replace Back PanelPut the small plastic panel back over the top of the memory area. Tighten all the screws down, being careful not to overtighten as this causes the screws to strip or the plastic panel to break.
