If certificate has been lost, please notify Zions Bank in writing. A stop will be placed on our system and also with the Securities Information Center. If the market value of the lost certificate exceeds $1,000.00 a Surety Bond will need to be obtained in order to replace the lost certificate at a cost of approximately 2% of the market value. If the market value is less than $1,000.00 an Indemnity Agreement may be used to replace the certificates. There is a $35.00 processing fee for lost certificate processing. Extra paperwork may be required for filing by the Surety Company if a bearer bond is lost.
