How do I replace all double quotes with single quotes in char and varchar fields?

Use the REPLACE function – REPLACE(str, find, replacewith)… update HH.MY_TABLE set TEXT_X = replace(TEXT_X, ‘”‘, ”) where TEXT_X like ‘%”%’; Note that the single quote in the replace function is doubled up because you need to escape it.
