Remove the Old Flush ValveShut off the toilet’s water supply valve and remove the tank lid. Flush the toilet and hold down the handle to remove as much water as possible, then sop up any remaining water with a towel. Holding the new valve in place, place the lock nut on the bottom of the valve from underneath the tank hole. Don’t over tighten.Check For LeaksConnect the supply line to the tank, making sure to not over tighten the connecting nut. Connect the refill tube from the new flush valve to the overflow tube.
