How do I replace a dryer door latch?
The door latch is the male portion and it is installed by turning it 90 degrees. Removal is the same process…90 degrees counterclockwise. The female portion on the frame is held by spring loaded clips. Most of the time I just punch them through into the machine rather than take the front panel off. Very seldom do you need to replace the male part, but if you do, its a 90 degree turn. Hope this helps..
