How do I replace a bad Lenco actuator?

o Hobo offers the following steps: Look in your bilge area and you should see a black cable about 3/8″ in diameter leading from each Lenco Actuator. This cable leading from the port actuator will have the black plastic insulation skinned back about 3″ from the end exposing two encased smaller wires (about 16 gauge). One of these wires will be white. The other will be black. The smaller black wire will be connected to a yellow wire approximately the same size and the white wire will be connected to a green wire. These connections are made by a heat-shrink covered crimp. Cut these wires on both sides of the crimp. Skin back the ends of both the black and the white wire and either attach about a four-foot piece of string or small wire to the ends of the black/white wires. Remove the actuator bracket that is screwed to your boat with three screws. Remove the other end from the trim tab. Next, slowly pull the actuator away from the transom all the while pulling the cable along with it. More
