How do I repair the power button on my Broksonic DVCR-810?

The power button started cutting off occasionally when I was setting up a recording but would stay on when turned back on. Then it started cutting off and would not stay on longer than a minute. I am unable to set the clock, record to the VCR, or play the DVD. It is wasteful to throw it away. I hope you can help me repair it so I can use it again. Thanks for your help.
