How do I repaint my tunnel hull R/C boat?
Hello I’m new to the forum, happy to have found it and be able to share my experiences with others. Attached are some pictures of my 2nd Lil Shelly Foss tug. The first one I build was 29 years ago and in a moment of madness I sold it. This one I started 10+ years ago and I’m just now getting the chance to finish it up. I still have some finishing details to do on it, but right now it’s not looking too bad. I’ve used the Dumas running gear on it, twin props, drive shafts to one of their adapt-a-drive gear units powered by an Aristo-Craft motor (basically a 540). I’m currently using a Futaba ESC with a 4 channel Futaba radio. Power right now is being supplied from a 7.2 VDC RC car battery pack. I will in all probability change that to a gell cel in the near future.
