CLR works the best. That’s what I use. Just keep the shower head submerged in a small container of CLR for a few hours. It will be like new again.

CLR – Calcium Lime and Rust remover work well. Just spray and wipe. If it is stubborn, but some in a glass just large enough to accomodate the shower head and hold it there for maybe 5 minutes. Wipe it clean with a conventional cleaner to stop the acid action when you are done.

if you get some magnets and put them round your main water pip then it should never happen again

put white vinegar in a plastic bag and tie it around the shower head…let it sit overnight…it works GREAT!
