get a pry bar asturdy razor knife with lots of blades and a six or eight inch razor scraper greese up your elbows and open a can of whoop *** on that floor and if your lucky it will come up in big pieces if its flooring from the 20s than it lino not vinyl and the seams should be every four feet but you probly have several layers of flooring therestart in a doorway and get the pry bar under all the layers and pry up then get a longer one and get a better bite on it if it starts to come up in big pieces dont get happy just keep goinggrab the edge and fold the piece it should break good luck
