How do I remove the fan switch in a 2002 buick rendezvous?
First remove the two screws attaching the kick panel under the steering wheel. Then remove the dash by carefully pulling the large plastic piece forward with slow steady pressure until the metal clips holding it on pop free. You should now be able to remove the wiring harness to the driver information center buttons and remove the dash completely and set aside. With all that completed, remove the HVAC controls by removing one screw on each side of the panel. The fan switch is held in by two 6 mm nuts and the wiring harness on the back of the HVAC controls.
