How do I remove the coins from a Komet vending machine?
Oh, it’s simpler than most realize. Think of your machine as two major sections; the top section and the bottom section. And these two sections are held together by a rod that goes from the bottom of the machine all the way to the lid of the machine. The only thing that needs to be unscrewed is the little silver part on top of the lid. Once unscrewed, this will allow you to remove the whole top section that is seated on top of the bottom section. The two sections, especially on older machines, will sometimes seem to be fitted together a little more snuggly, as if they won’t come apart, but they do. You might need to have someone hold the bottom section while you lift up on the top section, but they do come apart. Once the top section is off you will easily see inside of where the coins go!
