How Do I Remove The Clock In Windows ME Or XP?
Though Windows ME was not a big seller, many users of this program have not converted to XP or Vista. Replaced by Windows XP and XP Pro, many of the features of ME and XP are very similar. One feature that everyone turns off at one time or another is the clock display. Normally active in the lower right corner of the display, making this clock disappear will give you more room in your task bar for active file names and programs. With your computer turned on and Windows running, slide your cursor or pointer over the clock/time display and right click with your mouse. From the newly opened menu, scroll down to select, “Properties”. It is usually the last option on the menu. From the Properties window, read all the options and then click to remove the check mark next to the “Show Clock” option. Click “Okay” to active your changes and the clock will no longer be visible. Note: If you decide later you need the clock display, repeat all the above steps, except make sure you add a check mark
