How do I remove the cartridge in a Moen single handle kitchen faucet?

Our Moen kitchen faucet has been leaking around the base. I figured out how to remove the cover, handle, retainer pivot nut, spout assembly, diverter and retainer clip. I can’t figure out how to get the cartridge out. Maybe I shouildn’t. Maybe all I need is some new o-rings. Your thoughts and help welcome. Here is a diagram of the faucet.
