How do I remove the aluminium frames that were used for secondary glazing on windows?

I am trying to remove secondary glazing from the inner frame on our sash windows. I have already taken the glass out, but I can’t find any obvious screws to undo, that allow the aluminium frames for the secondary window to be removed. Any help gratefully received!
