How do I remove stains from Rubbermaid Sinkware?
We suggest either of the following procedures for cleaning your sinkware: 1. Place the sinkware in the sink and cover it with warm water. Add one tablespoon of liquid chlorine bleach per cup of water. Allow the sinkware to soak for 30 minutes. Remove and rinse thoroughly. 2. Or, place the sinkware in the sink and cover it with warm sudsy water and a little non-chlorine bleach. Allow it to soak for 30 minutes. Remove and rinse thoroughly. We do not recommend the use of powdered cleansers or abrasive pads on the sinkware because these items would scuff the surfaces and allow stains to penetrate even deeper. If you follow one of the above-described cleaning methods on a regular basis, your sinkware should remain fresh and clean and staining will be minimized.
