How Do I Remove “Sent” From My Blackberry Wireless Handheld?

By default, all BlackBerry smartphones have a signature at the end of an email sent from the phone. The signature says something similar to “Sent from my BlackBerry device,” (depending on the wireless provider). You can change or remove this signature if you don’t want people to know that you are sending an email from your phone. Log in to your BlackBerry Internet Service (BIS) site. Sites are different depending on the cell phone service provider. If you are not registered with BIS, click “Create New Account,” accept the terms, enter your phone PIN and ESN/MEID (located under the battery) and create a username and password. Click the “Edit” icon next to the email account you want to change. Delete or change the “Sent from my BlackBerry” in the “Signature” box. Click “Save” to save the changes.
