Use acetone. My boss once used permanent marker and wrote ALL OVER a laminate sample and wiped it clean with acetone and then lit the acetone on fire. YES, ON FIRE. and the laminate sample was completely fine.

I use a tennis shoe. It works. My husband has those hard black dress shoes and they make scuff marks on the floor. Someone showed me to rub the tennis shoe on it like you are erasing it and it comes off. Hope it works for you.
