Remove oil stains from concrete as quickly as possible. Cover the stain with liquid dish detergent. Pour water over the soaped stain and the surrounding area.Scrub the oil stain briskly with a stiff-bristled scrub brush. Add more dish detergent as needed to create a thick lather. Clean the concrete around the stain, as well, to prevent it from attracting the loosened oil.Cover the area with cat litter. Wait 30 minutes while the cat litter absorbs the oil, water and soap mixture.
