How do I remove latex paint from marble?
Scrape the paint off the marble. If the amount of paint on the marble is minimal, gently scrape it off with a razor blade or a wood or plastic scraper. For small spots of paint on marble, you can also use lacquer thinner. Put some on a clean white rag and rub the spot until it comes off.Apply a heavy liquid paint stripper. Use one of these products if the paint is heavier. These strippers are caustic, so make sure you work in a well-ventilated area, wear rubber gloves and protect your eyes. Follow the directions on the product and make sure to thoroughly rinse your marble afterward.Re-polish the marble. If the heavy liquid paint stripper scratches the marble, you may need to re-polish it.
