How Do I Remove History On My Tool Bar?
While many people like the fact that Internet Explorer keeps track of browsing and searching history, some seek to remove this history. This is particularly the case when it comes to toolbar search history, as the searches that have been run may be something you don’t want other users of your PC to see. Removing, or deleting the toolbar history is actually as easy as deleting any other Internet Explorer history. Open Internet Explorer by double-clicking the Internet Explorer icon on your Desktop. Click the “Tools” button located on the right side of the taskbar below the Internet address bar. Click the “Internet Options” button. Click the “General” tab. Click “Delete…” under the “Browser history” section. Place a checkmark next to all seven of the options, particularly “Form Data.” Press the “Delete” button.
