How do I remove candle wax off brown linen trousers?
Okay, I’ve been making candles for YEARS and believe me when I tell you I’ve got wax on just about every fabric and surface you can imagine. But the time I got it all over my husband’s jacket – oh dear. Put the kettle on, ma! I poured a pot of boiling water through just the layer of cloth that the wax was on. I did it outside so that the wax didn’t end up in the sink or drain. Worked like a charm. Ironing can work as well, just make sure you have a paper towel/newspaper/cloth on both sides of the wax…otherwise you’ll just spread it around. Good luck!
