Hard drives come in two heights; a standard drive is 26.0 millimeters (mm) and a slimline drive is 17.5 mm in height. Slimline drives require that a special clip be installed before the drive can fit properly into the 3.5-inch drive bay. Note: Prior to replacing or installing a second hard drive, ensure that the jumpers on the hard drives are properly set.
