If your garment is 100% COTTON, I swear this works GREAT! I do it in the bath tub/shower. I also keep a stick of stain remover next to the washing machine so I can catch stains as soon as possible. Pre-treat your stain while getting the following PLASTIC bucket/container ready. Take 1 C. of Cascade Dishwashing Powder, AND 1/4 C. Bleach. Mix the powders in the hottest water possible in the PLASTIC bucket. Insert your garment and let it sit for about 30 min. I use a large round stick to agitate the contents of the bucket every 5-10 min. When the 30 min. is up, remove your garment and check it out. If your garment is stain free, dry it as you normally would. If there is ANY hint of the stain still showing, repeat the above process until the stain is gone. Usually it works the first time, but some tough stains take longer. After I am sure the garment is stain free, I launder with TIDE and Downey (in the ball) and finally throw it in the dryer, depending on what the garment is, with a Bounc
