The Bandwidth Throttle option allows you to adjust the percentage of Internet bandwidth to be used by the IBackup for Windows application. It effectively divides the bandwidth between various Internet-based applications, to help maintain their efficiency. By default, it is set to 100% and can be adjusted as required. On selecting Auto-Pause, you can set the bandwidth to be used by the IBackup application, when the system is in use and when it is not. To enable it, go to Tools > Preferences > General tab and select the ‘Auto-Pause’ option. The Bandwidth Throttle can be adjusted during the interactive and scheduled backup process in the Backup Progress dialog. It can also be done through IBackup for Windows Monitor tray icon.
