How do I register for a training program with InterCockpit? Are there specific prerequisites?
Two conditions must be fulfilled before commencing training at InterCockpit. Firstly, a valid Aviation Medical Certification Class 1 and the FAA Medical Class 3 must be obtained – issued by an Aeromedical Center. Secondly, we also require a positive certificate based on an examination by the Corporation for Applied Psychological Research (Gesellschaft fr Angewandte Psychologische Forschung/GAPF) in Wrzburg. The application process for the GAPF test is extremely simple: Just schedule an appointment for the examination directly with Dr. Braun, Tel.: +49 (0) 931 18 387 or by e-mail psycho.systems[at]gapf[dot]de. It’s up to you in which order you would like to complete the tests. You will be informed of the results of the test at the end of the second testing day. Alternatively, we also accept a previously completed Basic Professional Examination conducted by Lufthansa or Austrian Airlines in conjunction with the German Air and Space Center.
