How do I register as an Xfire user?
The process is as simple as it is quick. You’ve downloaded and installed the Xfire application, right? Then click on the “New User Registration” link where prompted at the log in screen. Spend a few seconds thinking of a suitably cool/ironic/l33t Username, type it in, followed by your email address (don’t worry; we aren’t sharing this information!) and then type in a Password. Make sure the Password is something you’ll remember easily, and at least 5 characters. We do need your actual email address because this will be the primary way for us to communicate with you about password retrieval, customer support, etc. In addition, if your friends want to search for you but don’t know your Username, your e-mail address will be one of the easiset ways for them to find you. Your Username isn’t case sensitive at this point in time, all the Usernames are lower case for simplicity.
