How do I record my external files such as medical reports, scans, X-rays, medical opinions and other records?
The original medical records are usually held by the doctor, institution or medical advisor when you were treated. In most countries copies of the records are available to the patient either at the end of the consultation or by direct application to the originating medical advisor, clinic or hospital. The records may be available either as a physical hard copy (paper or film) or in electronic format (CD, USB or direct download).
