If using sound recorder, open the program while windows media player or winamp are open. Click record and start the song playing. Keep in mind that you’ll only get a minute worth of audio. If you want more recording time without the hassle of configuring sound recorder, then you need to get the messer program. Do a google search for the program. After you install, follow the same procedure to record. Messer will record for an unlimited length of time as long has you have enough space on your computer.
