When you successfully complete our Delaware Department of Insurance (DOI) approved 6 hour online defensive course, you’ll qualify for a mandatory 10% reduction on your automobile insurance for three (3) years. If you have previously taken a 6 hour online defensive driving course, you may take our 3 hour refresher course within the 90 day period prior to the end of your initial three (3) year reduction to receive a 15% discount on your automobile insurance for an additional three (3) years. The Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) considers the satisfactory completion of a Department of Insurance (DOI) approved 6 hour insurance reduction course as a three (3) point credit. Please keep in mind that this credit is at the discretion of the DMV and may vary on an individual basis.
