How do I read the manufacturer’s date code on SmartForme products?

0

On every SmartForme packet and bar wrapper there is either an ink-jetted or embossed manufacturer’s code that consists of four numbers followed by a series of 6 characters. The first three numbers represent the day of production (i.e. 001 = January 1st, 365 = December 31st ). The fourth number represents the year of production (i.e. 3 = 2003, 4 = 2004). The final characters are references for the manufacturer and are of no significance to consumers.
