When the Sify engineer installs the LAN card in your PC he will also leave a floppy with the Lan card drivers with you. As a precaution you should a keep the drivers saved on your hard disk. To reinstall the LAN Card – 1. Right click on network neighborhood 2. Select the Ethernet adaptor option 3. Say remove to uninstall the LAN card. 4. Reinstall the card by going to Control Panel. 5. Say Add Hardware. Reinstall the LAN card. Your LAN Card will be reinstallaed and you can start using the Sify Broadband connection. In case you have reconfigured your PC, you can install the LAN Card again using the floppy. But if you would like to have an Engineer from Sify to come and install the LAN Card again you will have to bear the charge of Rs.250 for the visit.
