How do i raise the MP3, and ringtone, volume on my samsung u900 soul?

I would have thought like my Sony/E. When you set your ringtone the option is to scroll to ringtone volume. When I play the walkman mp3 I use the volume up/down on the side of the phone which lights up in green and the green spots get bigger the higher you go up.
