How do I put music onto my new Alias 2 from Verizon Wireless?
Put all of your music in .mp3 format into the my_music folder which should be located in the root of the microsd card, meaning that the my_music folder isnt in any other folders. Put the card back in your alias 2 and open the My Music section. You seem like you know how to get there. Go to options in the bottom right hand corner and select option 1 to scan the memory card for new music. It should then update the playlist on the device. You have to do this everytime you add music. The reason why, is that the music is located on your card and the playlist is saved on the phone. So they have to be in sync with each other.
