How Do I Put Gum Tragacanth On Leather?

0

Gum tragacanth is natural gum which is obtained from the dried saps of some species of genus Astragalus. This gum is odorless, tasteless, viscous and water soluble which can be used on leather as an edge slicking and burnishing compound. To apply on leather, first round off edge of leather with an edge beveler then shake well gum tragacanth before use and apply a thin coat using a slightly damp sponge or cloth then rub briskly with edge slicker or piece of canvas until desired burnish is achieved.
