How do I put a one inch pipe under a twelve foot long concrete patio?
I am assuming you are trying to feed a water line or electric conduit under your slab. One method that has worked for me in the past is to use a high pressure jet of water. This can cause hollow pockets under the slab, but these can be reduced by using a pipe a little larger. Feed a hose with a high pressure nozzle into the lenghth of pipe, and push the pipe through as the water erodes the dirt. The larger pipe will usually allow the excess water and dirt to run out reducing the hollow pockets under the slab. I can’t make any guarantees that this will work for you, there are many variables concerning soil composition, but I have used this method with success 3 times.
