How do I purchase centre court tickets for a Wimbledon tennis tournament?
Its too late now, but if you send a stamped addressed envelope to The All England Croquet and Tennis Club at Wimbledon (see their website)in about Sept 07 and they will send you an application form which you fill in and send back. You are then entered in a raffle. These are for Centre, No.1 and No 2 Court…you then wait and if lucky they advise you of what tickets you can purchase and what date….you can also queue overnight and a limited number of Centre and No1 Court tickets are available on the day….It is possible to get just ground entry tickets and you can go on Henman Hill and watch on the main screen….the ground entry ticket also entitles you to watch matches on the outside courts, which is good in the first week. We have had tickets for the Show Courts nearly every year for 15 years including mens final tickets….Note there will be less seats on Centre Court for next couple of years as they are putting a roof on….
