how do i punish my dog if he has urinated in the house?
(1). You DO NOT PUNISH your dog for going in the house, its not their fault its yours, negative feedback will not let your dog know what is right, nor does it work after the fact. If you want to give them a message of “NO” tell them “No” in a low voice when they are in the action of doing their business or clap your hands, taking them outside immediately and tell them “Here” in a positive voice, giving them praise if they “go” outside. Punishing them, especially physically, will only make them fear you. I have found that the best way is avoiding the mistake by keeping them on a strict schedule; wake-up:outside, eat:outside, nap:outside, play:outside, ect..
