How do I publish my Sony Vegas video?

Hi, Victoria. I use Sony Vegas Pro 8.0 to make videos for my company’s website. To make an actual video from your project, you need to render it. When you’ve finished editing, go to the Menu drop down and select Render As. A window will then appear, prompting you to select where to save the finished file and what type of file to save it as. If you’re on a PC, I’d recommend saving it as a Windows Media Video V9 (.wmv) file. If you’re using a Mac, I’d recommend Quicktime 7 (.mov). Once you’ve chosen, click the Save button. You’re project will begin rendering, displaying a progress bar. How fast it renders depends on your computer’s power and the quality and length of the video. When the video is done rendering, go to the file folder where you chose to save it. Double click it and the finished video should play in your default media player. Hope this helps! If you have any more questions–or just want to let me know you figured it out–leave me a comment at my blog www.werdofbert.com and
