The easiest method for converting images from ArcView into a web-ready format (GIF or JPEG) is by screen capture. A screen capture takes a snapshot of what you have displayed on the screen and saves it into the clipboard (analogous to copying and pasting text). By pressing and simultateously, you will capture the entire contents of the screen. Similarly, by pressing and , you can capture just the active window. After you have copied the screen image into the clipboard, open Photoshop and paste the contents of the clipboard into a new file.
