How do i prune gooseberries?
To prune your gooseberry bushes just cut back any old branches and any branches that overlap the others, you are looking for your bush to be a rounded shape, this will grow much better and be easier to keep on top of it. To actually cut the branches you need to cut just above the buds in a diagonal cut so water can drip off the end of the branch and not soak in to the newly cut branch. I hope this helps.
