There are several different ways of doing this, depending upon what level of access you need to someone else’s account. Each person/account has the ability to assign rights to anyone else, to a variety of degrees. If you have the need to manage someone else’s account to any degree, the person would need to grant you Delegate (referred to as proxy or access rights in GroupWise) rights. This is done under Tools/Options/Delegates from the main Outlook menu. Outlook explains the variety of different delegate/premissions options available. Once you’ve been given delegate rights, you can easily open the other person’s folder. We’ll use the Calendar folder as an example: – From the main Outlook menu, click File, then Open, then Other User’s Folder. – Click Name or type in the person/account’s name. – Click the dropdown arrow next to Folder and choose Calendar. Click OK.
