How do I protect my program settings across disk crashes, operating system installs, etc?
Normally your program configuration is preserved when you upgrade our products. We cannot protect these settings from disk crashes, or operating system installs, and other such major events. You can, however, create backup copies of you current configuration by using a registry maintenance program such as REGEDIT to create import-able exports of the section of the registry where the setting are stored.
