If your degree is a guaranteed thing, then there’s no reason why you can’t send it out before you actually receive the degree. I would find some blank cards with some relevant graduation themed picture. Inside would be something like: “Dear Grandma: How are you doing? I’m doing great, I’m going to be graduating this year! Finally, after four years of hell, insomnia, panic attacks and poverty, I will have my degree in Economics. I would like to thank you for your support through all my hardships at school. I cannot wait to see you at my wedding in August. Lots of love” Unless you went to Yale or Oxford, the school doesn’t really matter. Its nice to mention your degree type. I would just make it into a chatty letter though. A card with, “I’m graduating with a Biosci degree” sort of screams, “send me gifts because you should care” and I doubt this is your intent.
