How do I properly use the iMate adapter?
First, you will need to install the iMate extensions. The link to the extensions can be found at the bottom of the SAM-Trackball page on our CD or at our website. Once installed, the extensions must be turned ON in both iMate Control and iMate USB Drivers. When the computer is on, if you unplug the iMate and then plug it back in, you will receive an error message. Do your connecting of iMate adapted devices while your computer is off. ————– We are looking for an adapter to connect the PC SAM joystick to a USB port on a Imac! The Windows joystick that you have, and the laptop adapter, are *not* compatible with iMac. You would need our SAM-Joystick for Mac, and the iMate adapter.
