Look along the edge of the car door that faces the rear of the vehicle for a sort of U-shaped notch cut out that has latch mechanisms inside it.Cleaning the LatchWipe the latch mechanism with a rag to remove any dirt and grime from the mechanism before you grease it. You want to get the latch as clean as possible.Lubricating the LatchTake a can of pressurized white lithium grease and stick one end of the red straw that comes with the grease into the spray nozzle of the can. Aim the other end of the straw at the latch mechanism. Coat the entire latch with the grease.
