GE Universal RemoteTurn on the device which you would like to program into the remote. Press and hold the “Code Search/Setup” button on the remote control until the indicator light comes on. Press the button corresponding to the type of device you would like to program on the remote control. Enter the code which corresponds to the brand name of your device (see the Resource section for a link to codes). The indicator light should turn off, indicating that you have successfully entered the device code. Press the “Power” button, and your device should turn off.
